April 2023 Journal

Hiya all :wave: A couple things happened this past month: you know last journal I mentioned my Grand Uncle George had passed away, we were able to attend his funeral last week and it was a nice service and it was nice to see family members, especially ones we very rarely see etc :meow: Back on the 10th I had my birthday and it was a proper regular quiet day, but it was a good day, that's what matters :aww: Mum also gave me some Amazon monies as we had no idea what else to get for my birthday this year =P In gaming, I've been mostly playing Theatrhythm and Kirby still, both are nearly done with the main game stuff: in the former I've unlocked all the tracks in Series Quest mode and I'm now just fun gaming it getting scores on the difficulty modes and style modes (like with the co-op KH MOM has I expect Pair Style to take a long time as I like doing it with Mum XD but she doesn't enjoy it as much as I do lol) - I've deffo noticed that when TFBL gets difficult...it really does

New Journal Starting Spring ^^

Hiya all :wave: I say start of spring, sure it's milder today and yesterday, but who knows weather right :P There hasn't been a lot going on in life for us personally, but we had some sad family news: my Grand Uncle George, who was my nan's (Mum's mum) brother so my mum's uncle, was hospitalised then moved to a hospice for end-of-life care and he's passed away awwwww :( I have to admit he was one of those relatives I hadn't seen in many many years, since weeny childhood probably, so I don't have any memories of him particularly...but Mum obviously has her memories of him etc awwwww we're hoping to make the funeral, but no plans have been finalised yet so we'll see how things work out :meow: In films, we got Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on blu-ray and wooooo, it's so good :D they handled it really well too as the film went through big changes after poor Chadwick Boseman died, that was so sad :( , and the film respects and handles his character's departure really well too

Time for a Journal XD

Hello everyone :wave: Been cold times this winter, or at least has felt really cold at times, we did have another cold snap, but hope everyone doing all right :hug: Since my last journal that sore throat/cough I had started turned into a proper nasty hacking/chesty cough resulting in bad sleeping, tiredness, feeling proper meh, but it thankfully recovered itself and passed, even though I still occasionally feel slow/tired getting up (never been a get up and go bright awake person to be fair XD) or if I have a day I do more than usual (again that could be me not being very active and out-and-about in general XD). I also still have short coughs that randomly trigger, but they're also getting less and less so hopefully nearly fully better :meow: A couple days ago we went out on the search for a new mobile phone for me :omfg: I've had my same old phone for absolutely years since all I need is the ability to call and text (not the bells and whistles of newer phones lol) and it's
